Yorkville Highlands STOMP 2009

A favorite activity at the Yorkville Highlands Wine Festivals is the Grape Stomp contest. Each pair of contestants selects one person to stomp on the vat of grapes, and the second person collects the grape juice in a bottle from a spigot in the vat. The contestant pair with the largest quantity of juice is declared winner. It’s messy, energetic, sometimes sexy, and always hilarious.
